21st Century Bible Lessons by Jesus

I was introduced to this video by Vintage21.com this week. Many will interpret this video as bashing on the church’s teachings. The reality is that, this video points out how legalistic and shallow many church teachings come across.

If this is the perception, then people it is time for DRASTIC MEASURES! Jesus did not come to change our actions (the Old Testament law was all about that and it didn’t work), but to change our hearts. When we focus on actions we are making a self-righteous mockery of everything Jesus stood for. But when we care about people and plead to their hearts we begin to look, talk, and teach like our Savior and God.

If you are reading this and are not a Christian, but agree with the video; then let me apologize. I am sorry that we (Christians) belittle who God really is, I am sorry that we take the easy road, and I hope that you are open enough to accept that God is bigger/better than his followers and wants to be your God.
